In order to strengthen Macao 's business development, support Macao 's industrial diversification and encourage Macao-related trade information activities, IPIM  funded ITTO to cooperate in the development of sustainable tropical forest management and legal and sustainable tropical timber supply chains, with a view to establishing a commercial information platform for the global timber supply chain.

On June 2022, IPIM funded ITTO 's projects “The establishment and operation of the global timber index platform for building legal and sustainable forest products supply chains”(GTI) and “The collaborative operations of the block-chain-based timber traceability system for building legal and sustainable forest products supply chains”(BC). Both projects are implemented and activities organized by GGSC Secretariat.
