On June 29th, the first meeting of “The establishment and operation of the global timber index platform for building legal and sustainable forest products supply chains” sponsored by the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO) and funded by the Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Authority (IPIM). At the meeting, the project framework, implementation plan and project work plan were reported by the secretariat of GGSC, and the implementation plan and work plan were highly recognized by the project steering committee. In order to strengthen the promotion and dissemination of results, the project steering committee recommended to organize an international seminar on GTI-related market situations and trends in mid-December to maximize the impact of the GTI index.
