The 58th ITTO Council Meeting opens in Yokohama, Japan on November 7, 2022. Members of the ITTO committee, representatives of the Japanese government and representatives of member countries attended the meeting. Jesse Mahoney, Chairman of the ITTO, Takei Shunsuke, Minister of State of Japan, Yamanaka Takeharu, Mayor of Yokohama, IRoberto Seminario Portocarrero, Ambassador of Peru to Japan, and Sheam Satkuru, Executive Director of the ITTO delivered congratulatory remarks, expecting member countries to continue to fulfill their organizational commitments and increase support for the sustainable management and protection of tropical forests and related international trade. This meeting adopts the offline and online for a total of 5 days.
