“Research on Timber Traceability Cooperation Mechanism Based on Blockchain Technology” Project, Sawn Timber Traceability Pilot Training Conference was Held

To implement the project "Research on Timber Traceability Cooperation Mechanism Based on Blockchain Technology" organized by Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) and the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO), and carried out the pilot work of sawn traceability based on blockchain. The GGSC Secretariat held an online training conference and seminar on sawn traceability. Participators from the focal points in China and Gabon, and Gabon Asian Wood Industry Association, focused on the traceability of sawn timber links and key fields and elements, and traceability software development and application issues.

Before this conference, the project execution unit and the platform development organization held a project traceability platform construction and start-up discussion on the legality traceability technology and software development of sawn timber from Gabon to China on November 16.
