On February 13, the Secretariat of the Global Green Supply Chains Initiative (the GGSC Secretariat) visited Jiangshan City, Zhejiang Province to investigate the development of local timber industry, and invited enterprises to participate into the "Global Timber Index (GTI) " project.

With the support of Jiangshan market supervision and administration and Jiangshan inspection institute, the GGSC Secretariat visited Zhejiang WanPai door industry Co., LTD., Zhejiang Shufujia door industry Co., LTD., Zhejiang Jingtangmen door industry Co., LTD., Zhejiang Jianyi timber industry Co., LTD., Zhejiang Yadile timber industry Co., LTD., and Jiangshan Bowei timber industry Co., LTD., and studied their production and operation states from the manager and staff.

On February 15, the GGSC Secretariat held a conversazione of the GTI project with local timber enterprises. At the meeting, the secretariat introduced the work contents of GGSC and the outputs of GTI project and gave a brief introduction of filling the GTI index. Local timber enterprises poured out and discussed their current challenges and requirements and looked forward to strength the cooperations with GGSC.
