On 19 May 2025, the Global Green Supply Chains Initiative (GGSC), the Central African Forest Initiative (CAFI), and the Global Green Supply Chain of Forest Products (Macao) Federation jointly convened a meeting in Geneva. The meeting aimed to advance the outcome reached during the Global Legal & Sustainable Timber Forum 2024 (GLSTF 2024), namely the Integration of Green Finance and Green Supply Chains (GF&GS), and to build a green supply chain of forest products between Africa, China, and the European Union through multi-party collaboration.

The meeting lasted for a full day. GGSC presented the preparations for the GLSTF 2025. In-depth discussions were conducted on the continuous progress of the green supply chain cooperation between Africa, China, and the EU, and several cooperation intentions were reached.
