In order to promote the government, enterprises, financial institutions and other organizations to widely participate in the application of block-chain-based cross-border timber traceability, and to solve the transparency, authenticity and credibility of cross-border timber traceability, coordination group of the "The collaborative operations of the block-chain-based timber traceability system for building legal and sustainable forest products supply chains" was formed in Beijing on August 31，and conducted academic seminar.  The coordination group has put forward valuable opinions and suggestions on establishing a timber traceability cooperation mechanism based on block-chain technology and piloting block-chain-based timber traceability activities and will assist in solving problems during the implementation of the project, and submit policy recommendations on block-chain-based cross-border timber legality traceability to relevant departments.
